The Oaks at Sherwood, formerly named Sherwood Forest Country Club, is a public, 18 hole golf course located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Previously a private course, Sherwood reopened in 2009 as a public course.
The Oaks at Sherwood first opened for play in 1956. The course was designed by Ralph Plummer.
The Oaks at Sherwood is a family-friendly, quality public golf course offering the amenities and service levels of a private golf club. In addition to an 18-hole, par 72, quality golf course, The Oaks at Sherwood offers a practice range, golf shop, media room, and Sandbagger's sports bar and grill. Its sloping greens, meandering creeks, and graceful live oaks will offer a challenging and entertaining environment for golfers of all levels.
